Lake Michigan blew my mind.
It’s practically the size of Ireland and then you go swimming in it and forget that it’s not the sea until it dawns on you that the water isn’t salty because its’ a GIGANTIC LAKE!
lake michigan is my favorite place too, fresh water, no jelly fish or other bitey/stings creatures. water is pretty cold though. and the sand dunes are amazing!!!
“Borgen Aftonfrid” (Rough translation is Castle of Evening Peace) in Sjölanda, Sweden. This house was built by John A Ekström by and by as he collected stones during walks in the forest. He longed for a peaceful place to write his poems about nature.
